Homemade Green Smoothie



If anyone knows anything about difficulty waking up in the morning, it’s me. I am not a morning person so it takes me awhile to be functional in the AM!


This green smoothie is something that really helps me wake up and start my day. It’s full of vitamins, protein, iron, healthy fat, antioxidants, and fiber. This breakfast is so easy to make, can be taken on the go, and is a really easy clean up.



Here’s what you’ll need:


- 2 cups of spinach

- A splash of almond milk (add more as needed)

- 1 banana

- 1 tablespoon of flaxseed

- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds

- ½ cup of greek yogurt

- ¼ cup blueberries, can sub frozen peaches or frozen pineapple

- ½ cup crushed ice



All you need to do is put all these ingredients into a blender and blend it up! Add more liquid as needed to get your perfect consistency.


I love to pour my smoothies into a glass mason jar because it is the perfect size for this portion. Enjoy!! :)
